You make very important and true points about the victimization of these girls. Spreading this mentality is a cultural movement and as we can see through some of the comments, it is a work in progress to educate the world on the awful issue that is Commercial Sexual Exploitation. Prostitution is a form of Commercial Sexual Exploitation. Pimps (both men and women) pray on vulnerable people, especially young girls who are at risk simply by by being young. The average age of recruitment nationwide is 13-16 and the most common age of entry is 12 years old. Pimps are predators and use four main tactics to sexually exploit young women: Force, Coercion, Befriending and Seduction. In this situation, the older girl may have been working for a pimp and befriended the younger girl. As victims, these girls have low self esteem and low self worth. “The Life” is all they know to get by living once they are victimized in this way.

Keep in mind that girls AND guys ranging from children to the elderly can trade sex for money or food. We tend to think of prostitutes as desperate slave girls with abusive pimps, but thats not always the case. Anybody who likes sex and wants stuff can do it. In fact it was made illegal because of this thinking.

Imo, as long as the person doing it wants to do it, is actually ready to have sex with the ‘customer’, and feels they are getting a good deal out of it should be allowed to.

Um….. I’m so NOT loving it! But PUHLEASE! I know a chick who had sex for half a sandwich and ride home, then when we started to make fun of her she said it was chicken nuggets and it was raining! Chicks who do stuff like that need to pull out the measurement tape and measure their standards. I’m pretty sure if it’s right it’ll totally add up.
