But a recent study actually says chances are if a British guy is checking you out, his eyes won’t go to your butt–but rather to your boobs. The experiment, conducted in Argentina, tracked the eye movements of British and Argentinian men who looked at images of the female form and answered questionnaires. (Could you imagine the inquiries on that? Yeesh!)
British eyes and answers tended to linger on women’s cleavage, while Argentinian guys were found to be a lot more likely to be staring at your butt. One interesting thing about the British penchant for boobies? They actually preferred tiny ta-tas over big bazungas… Which may make some ladies in the U.K. want to discount another study that came out this week!
It kind of irks us that studies like this actually exist, though. Do you hear studies about whether women prefer big biceps or leaner muscles on dudes? No, you don’t. Researchers spending time on objectifying women (in one part of the study, guys were given photos of just butts and just boobs on women and told to “judge” them–WTF?!) take away from other things of more importance (like cancer research, or, uh . . . playing video games), and it kind of sets us back a bit. Even within the context of an experiment, the idea of being actively judged based on how your butt or boobs look is appalling and pretty insulting.

Plus, it’s something else to be self-conscious about: If you go to South America, you don’t want to worry about someone staring at your butt, and if you take a trip to see Big Ben, you don’t want to worry about duct taping your boobs down so some bloke will find you attractive.
In any case, whether a guy is staring at your butt or your boobs–and you better not catch him doing either unless you give him the okay!–there’s pretty much a lid to every pot. Different guys like different things, and the right guy–no matter where he’s from–will like you for who you are, not for your butt or bra size.

I hate the fact that I am constantly judged by the way I look… But it’s nice to hear that ‘tiny ta tas’ are more popular than ‘bazungas’…. but I still don’t agree with these studies, they are all on women, I don’t think I’ve ever heard of one on men!
