Why? Even if you willingly have sex with an older guy, there are all sorts of risks–including your own legal dramas, and potential child pornography charges if you take nude pics of yourself–or if he snaps some of you. Someone worth going to bed with, if he really likes you, will wait til he can do it legally.
We feel bad for one girl in particular who was foolish enough to have sex with an older guy–and this guy was way older! Ready to get creeped out? A 24-year-old guy named Christopher Bradley Nutt (go ahead and laugh, we’ll wait) found a 12-year-old girl online and engaged in all sorts of sex with her at his house. Having sex with an older guy is risky enough, but this girl was half his age!
As if that weren’t bad enough, the girl’s parents found out in the worst possible way. She went missing and they figured out where she was through her cell phone convos with pals–and the cops came to arrest Nutt and take her home. Based on the report, as if the girl’s experience wasn’t traumatic enough as is, she and Nutt clearly had to talk to cops in pretty graphic detail about what went down in his bedroom, because each sex act is a different criminal charge for him. Can you imagine having total strangers–and your parents!–know in detail exactly what you did when you had sex with an older guy (or anyone)? The ick factor is mega high. Talk about humiliating.
To top everything off, just take a look at this douche. He clearly thinks he’s hot stuff, but uh, hello? If he were as hot as he thinks he is, he could get someone legal. And that’s something to remember if you’re ever considering having sex with an older guy: Is there a reason he’s not with someone his own age?
The answer is probably a resounding “yes.” Especially if he still takes pictures of himself in his bathroom mirror.

hey I’m 17 now and I just got out of a relationship with a 31 yr old guy. It sounds like in 2-3 yrs the guy you like will be 29-30 yrs old. If he’s got to get a 17 yr old when he’s so old then hes pretty messed up. I kno from personal experience and it not fun to find out either :/ so I think if you really like him and he still likes you enough, wait at least till your 18

I have always and I believe will always dated other guys. My first time was when I was 15 with a guy who was 42. I’m currently 18 dating a guy who recently turned 47. I love older men and I don’t find guys my age attractive what so ever. I can see how some people would find them attractive but it doesn’t appeal to me. I’m not ashamed of who I’m with and I never will be. I’m not a gold digger in any way. I’m usually the one paying for things anyway. Out of my serious relationships over half have been with guys over 35. Out of my “hook-ups” more than half of them have been over 35 again. I don’t care for guys my age and every time I think I might just try one more time to see for sure older guys are what I want I come running back to older guys with a renewed sense of want and new sense of distaste for guys my age.

hello he will get.arrested and be.charbed as a sex offender. Lrgally no guy over 25 is alowed to date a girl under 18 so he will get in major troublle
I’ve always been sexually aware and I’ve always been involved with older men. No big deal. Age is arbitrary. Last year when I lost my virginity, the boy was 22 and I had just turned 17. It was exciting for both of us but we were realistic about it. He wasn’t pushing me into doing something I wasn’t ready for, much less bribing me with tales of love and a future together. We were attracted to each other and I felt comfortable with him, so we did it. We stayed together for a couple of months, broke it off because of our differences, and that’s that.
The man I’m seeing now is ten years older than me. He’s an established young professional and I love the security, the comfort, the excitement I get when I’m with him. Sex is great. I know I couldn’t have done the same when I was 15 and he was 25.
Age is arbitrary. But be mature, be sensible, and stay realistic. Don’t hurt and don’t think he used you when you offered yourself up to him.

As long as it’s legal and everybody’s consenting there’s nothing “wrong” with it, but being on the same maturity level intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually is pretty important.

When I was 19 I started to date a 32 year old as well. I had been sexually active since I was 15 and almost every partner I had was older. The funny thing is I had more sexual experience by the time I was 19 than my boyfriend had at 32. I think if you are emotionally mature enough than your partner’s age doesn’t matter (and no 12 year olds are not mature enough). Oh and that boyfriend is now my husband (I’m 24 and he’s 37) lol.

I’ve had crushes on older men, but never just threw myself at them and was like,”Oh yeah baby!” But heck, I’ve never talked to any older guy I’ve had a crush on in a sexual or “flirty” manner in the first place. I used to have a mini crush on the ISS teacher at my old school. I was 13, but of course I wasn’t trying to talk to him. I just thought he was cute and for a teacher. My friends did too. But if you have SEX with a guy that age, that’s just crazy. Especialy if he is half your age. Get real. Does that even SOUND like it’s good?

It’s not always bad though. my boyfriend is 18 and i’m 16 and i’ve talked to my counselor about it, and the cops wouldn’t even pursue it if my moms okay with us having sex. i mean, its not okay when your 15 and he’s 20, but two years? Still teenagers. Not all that bad.
