Depends when I get time. I’d paint them more often – a new colour every week – if I wasn’t so busy with coursework. I’m likely to paint them more often now that it’s summer.

Helen E nail polishes have a really nice consistency and colour and go on really easily, but 17′s lasting finish does what it says on the tin and has a very glossy finish.
5. Do you keep your nails clean and trimmed all the time, or just sometimes?
I try to. Really. But in between the times I paint them they seem to get brittle and break a lot.

Very rarely. I can’t afford them.
7. How often do you paint your nails on your own?
As often as I can, which entirely depends on work.
8. Have you ever tried to do any crazy nail art, like animals or ombre nails?
The most I’ll try on my own is painting coloured stripes, because although I can paint with my right hand just fine if I try painting with my left hand I’ll make a mess of it.
9. What nail art do you wish you knew how to do?
Celtic designs or Japanese symbols on each nail would be cool.
10. Are your nails long or short?
Fairly short. Practical-length, I’d say.
11. Do you bite your nails?
No. I do sometimes pick at them when the nail polish gets chipped though, which is a bad habit I should get out of.

Yellow.

Turquoise.

That’s the reason I paint them black so often: it goes with most of the clothes I own.

I’ll go with leopard print.

I’ve got five bottles in my room at university at the moment, and a load more at home.

I go for the bargains. No more than £5 a bottle, cheaper if possible.
