Men in Black III kicks off summer movie season on Memorial Day Weekend, and that’s just the tip of the blockbuster iceberg. Snow White and the Huntsman charges into theaters on June 1, giving a kickass new look at the fairy tale–and uh, Chris Hemsworth!
Kid at heart? Check out Madagascar 3 on June 8. Want to see something more mature? Take a gander at Robert Pattinson post-Twilight in Bel Ami. June 15 brings Rock of Ages (you’ll want to sing along!), June 22 has Brave–the first female hero in a Pixar flick!–and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter for the fright-loving. Need an apocalyptic chuckle? Check out Steve Carell in Seeking a Friend for the End of the World.
July is just as good, if not better (especially if you’re a comic book buff): The Amazing Spider-Man with Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy hits screens July 3, with The Dark Knight Rises–easily the highest anticipated movie of the year–knocking out viewers and possibly breaking box office records on July 20.
August brings a slew of action movies, including Total Recall, The Bourne Legacy, and Liam Hemsworth in The Expendables 2.
