In honor of Mother’s Day we’d like to do something a little different. Being a mom is hard work. Whether you’re a stay at home mom, single, divorced, a full-time working mother, whatever the situation is we know raising kids can be tough. We’ve all been brats before and so Mother’s Day is a great way to say, “Thanks for putting up with me, Mom.” But not all moms deserve praise. Some moms are just clueless or plain wrong.

Everyone has the right to raise their kids however they please . . . as long as you’re not hurting them. Take note future moms of America on what not to do. Without further ado here is our roundup of terrible moms we wish knew better.

The Reunited And It Feels So Good Mom

Aimee Louise Sword gave up her son for adoption sixteen years ago. When she saw his profile on Facebook she decided to find him. Sounds nice, huh? Nope. After meeting her estranged son, Aimee Louise began a sexual relationship with him. The police don’t know if her son knew that she was his mother but the traumatic effects of incest are serious. Seriously, seeking out your son who was clearly better off without you, just to sleep with him and mess him up? Nauseating.

The Neo Nazi Mom

Can we all just let out a deep sigh. This needs no explanation: Racism = Wrong. Naming your kid Adolf Hitler and Aryan Nation = Not OK. The Holocaust was one of the most devastating moments in human history, let’s not glamorize it or condone racism through our children. It’s a good thing these kids are being taken away, though it’s not because of the terrible names, it was recently discovered the children were being abused.

The Octo-Mom

I hope you remember her because I can’t seem to forget. After being artificially impregnated with eight children Nadya Suleman was left with fourteen kids. Yes, these children weren’t a miracle she asked for eight all at once and her doctor later admitted helping her do this was unethical. Now Nadya can no longer afford to take care of all these kids, is on welfare, and is currently shooting her first porno movie.

The Teen Mom

Amber Portwood’s bad parenting was documented on Teen Mom and she still didn’t think to stop? Amber was charged with multiple felonies after beating her boyfriend Gary Shirley in front of her daughter, Leah. She was sentenced to five years in prison, but was allowed to get out of jail free if she completed a stint at rehab. Unfortunately, Amber flaked out and is struggling to get back on her feet.

The Tanned Mom
There isn’t much to say about Patricia Krentcil without rolling our eyes. Really, tanning a five-year-old? There is a reason why it’s illegal–it’s dangerous to a child’s skin. Even the moms on Toddlers & Tiaras know to spray tan! (If it’s so important that your kid is twelve shades darker.) How about we wait till our kids are old enough to decide how they want to look before we impose our personal standards of beauty on them?

The Pretty Woman Mom

So much is already questionable about child pageantry: Is it OK to drown kids in makeup and tanning spray? Is it OK to teach them to judge based upon beauty at such an early age? Is it OK to keep them in these contests when they are so often clearly unhappy? This, however, was just plain weird! Wendy Dickey dressed her daughter up as Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. Sounds like no big deal, right? Except Julia Roberts’ character was a prostitute. The question of oversexualizing toddlers is rampant enough, but Wendy Dickey clearly lacks all self-awareness, shame, and respect for her daughter.

The Margarita Mom
