I am 14 and I have never worn makeup (not even at my dads wedding) because I am not comfortable with it. One of my best friends stopped being my friend because I refused to wear makeup for our grade 8 airbands even after I had told her makeup makes me uncomfortable!!!

Finally, a black girl! LOL
But srsly, makeup can be a good & bad thing;
I used to wear foundation & mascara during the school year & I recently took a break because of the warm weather.
I’m probably gonna start wearing makeup again in a few weeks when I start my summer job.
It all depends on how much you wear & how you wear it:)

I think starting off with a little makeup, like lipgloss and mascara could be fine, Just don’t go all-out right away.
