Go Green With Your Makeup

We don’t mean trying on forest-colored eyeliner (though it’s pretty universally flattering!). We mean using environmentally conscious products. You can look for words like “organic” and “all-natural” on your product labels, as well as “not tested on animals.”

Other ideas? Using biodegradable wooden eyeliner and lip liner pencils, refillable compacts and palettes, and foundations in reusable or recyclable glass containers can save a ton of both energy and plastic every year.

Another thing to look at? The packaging and the ingredients list. If you avoid products containing petroleum and/or a ton of excess packaging (like plastic on cardboard, for example) you can save a lot of oil and energy. And that, ladies, is beautiful!
