Flashback: 15 TV Show Theme Songs From The ’90s

It’s safe to say that we’re pretty much obsessed with ’90s TV shows over here at Gurl.com. Nothing makes us miss some of our old favorites more than hearing the music that meant a new episode was coming on – the famous theme songs! I don’t think it’s possible for anyone to forget the opening lines of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, or to not sing along to the Full House intro.

Check out some of our favorite old-school TV theme songs. As much as I wish we could have included everything, there was only room for 15. Listen and take a trip down memory lane – then let us know what your favorite is!

Any of the Saturday Morning cartoons on ABC (like Recess and a few others that I cannot remember at the moment). Power Rangers. Ren and Stimpy. Was Growing Pains 90s? Are You Afraid of the Dark? Tales From the Crypt. Sabrina the Teenage Witch (I remember being about 4 (’97) and totally thinking that I was badass because I’d get to stay up and watch it). Johnny Bravo, Powerpuff Girls, Dexter’s Laboratory…. Agreed on Bill Nye the Science Guy (they would still show him when I was in high school, best days ever). Was Reading Rainbow 90s? Cause it had the guy from Star Trek’s Next Generation.
    I think that’s it.
