Tonight Alive have shared the studio with Mark Hoppus of Blink 182, and the stage with Simple Plan and New Found Glory. The Australian band was named one of the top 10 Australian bands of all time by KROQ here in the states and have reached #1 on the iTunes alternative charts with their album Consider This! You can catch them on the Warped Tour 2012 and check out their first major label release What Are You So Scared Of?

Front-woman Jenna McDougall, who joined the band at just sixteen, chats with us about having her mom chaperon a date, cuddling, and delicious Blue Powerade.

1.) What’s your worst date story?
When I was fourteen I went to the movies with my first boyfriend. My mom bought tickets to see the same movie and made us sit together! I was devastated.

2.) If you could only have one drink for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Blue Powerade!

3.) Whose phone number do you wish you had?
Creepy, but Emile Hirsch.

4.) What’s something you’ve always wanted but you’ve never gotten?
To sleep in!

5.) What’s your secret nickname?
Fen.

6.) What’s the guiltiest pleasure on your iPod?
Scrubs by TLC.

7.) Best advice you ever got?
Everyone you meet has something to teach you.

8.) Favorite bargain purchase?
Bargain rings and pendants are always my favourite!

9.) Instant pick me up?
It’s a close call between cuddles and candy!
