Can’t Be At Coachella? Watch The Show Anyway!

Coachella

If you wished you were at Coachella this past weekend, you’re not alone! Coachella is one of the biggest music festivals in the U.S. every year, attracting around 75,000 (!!!) attendees every year. It usually spans three days, but this year it was stretched to six–all of the performers from this past weekend (April 13-15) will be there next weekend, too. The California-based fest celebrates music and art (there’s a ton of awesome sculptures in addition to cool bands). This year, headliners Radiohead, The Black Keys, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg shared stages with David Guetta, Florence + the Machine, The Weeknd and a ton more.

The lineup isn’t the only thing hot about Coachella–the daytime temps of the desert where it takes place each year can go up to 110 degrees! Thankfully, you can watch the best of Coachella from the comfort (and AC!) of your own home. Here are the most talked about performances you may have missed and click here to stream the whole show!

Santigold

What’s not to love about this sassy MC? Her voice, her beats, her bangs, her enthusiasm, and her cute outfit all came together for a great set that screamed “summer!” Seriously, don’t you kinda want to be her best friend after seeing her sing in her cute jumper?

Frank Ocean

Sigh. That voice makes us swoon.

Florence + the Machine

Between her ethereal outfits, interpretative dancing, and unmistakable voice, few people can bring it like the flame haired siren that is Florence Welch. The smoke and lighting are great for the atmosphere that Florence + the Machine creates, but with talent like that, it’s just a cherry on top of a really delicious sonic sundae.

Tupac Shakur Makes a Cameo

Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg closed the first weekend of Coachella, but it was their surprise guests who got the world talking. 50 Cent and Eminem both put on great sets of their own, but it was a creepy hologram of the slain California legend Tupac Shakur that sent the audience and Internet into a frenzy. Do you think it was creative genius or a little distasteful?
