Clean Out Your Closet
We know, we know–this might be the least fun part, but you’ll be so glad you did! Just set aside a few hours on a Sunday before your swap when you’d usually be vegging out anyway.
Cleaning out your closet in advance gives you a chance to see exactly what you have. Divvy it up into what you want to keep for yourself, what you maybe want to swap, and what you want to get rid of. This will keep you from accidentally giving something away that you love or from keeping a bunch of stuff that doesn’t fit you anymore but would look great on your bestie. Encourage your pals to do the same to save time!
Not sure what to keep and what to swap out?
Keep it if:
*It’s versatile and goes with everything.
*You get complimented on it all the time.
*It holds positive meaning and sentimental value.
*It fits perfectly (work those curves, ladies!).
*You’re in love with it.
Swap it if:
*If you haven’t worn it in over a year.
*It reminds you of your skeevy ex.
*If it’s merch from a band you never listen to anymore.
*If it’s too tight to wear without Spanx or holding your breath.
Put it in the “maybe” pile if:
*It doesn’t match anything you currently own. You may find something in the swap that goes with it perfectly.
*It’s a little loose. It’s easier to take clothes in than to let them out.
*You’re a little tired of it, but still like it. You may find the perfect new accessory to make it feel new again!

This would be an awesome idea. If I wasn’t super skinny (Ugh, size 00 slim) and all my friends weren’t at least three sizes bigger than me. :/ It’s a good idea though.
alot of pepole don’t have cash at all what do you do then huh
I tried this with my friends and it went really well, my friend had lots of designer stuff she just never wore but I always loved them so we swapped, I got the designer stuff, and she wanted some of the t-shirts I didn’t want!!
