Make Snazzy Invitations
Since your clothing swap is a celebration of style and creativity, show it off from the get-go with your invites. Instead of the usual E-Vite or Facebook event, think outside the box: Make them out of paper dolls! It not only goes with the theme, but it’s a cool keepsake from the soiree (aside from all the cute clothes, of course).
You can buy a book of them, or, if you have the extra time and want extra awesome points, you can make your own invites in the likenesses of your pals. If your paper doll is modest like the one shown here, you can jot down the date, time, and contact info where your doll’s skivvies are–or put one detail on each outfit your doll has.
Just a scheduling note: You’ll probably want your swap to be on a Saturday afternoon since it will last a while–and you may want to go out afterwards!

This would be an awesome idea. If I wasn’t super skinny (Ugh, size 00 slim) and all my friends weren’t at least three sizes bigger than me. :/ It’s a good idea though.

I tried this with my friends and it went really well, my friend had lots of designer stuff she just never wore but I always loved them so we swapped, I got the designer stuff, and she wanted some of the t-shirts I didn’t want!!
