How To Get Noticed By A Guy
While the most obvious answer to catching a guy’s eye seems like wearing something skanky and prancing by, that’s not the case–at least not if you want to attract and keep a guy who isn’t a jerk!
The key is to impress and intrigue him with how awesome you are, while making him feel like he’s pretty rad, too. Instead of just writing on his Facebook wall on his birthday, bring a candy bar to school for him. Are you awesome at guitar? Invite him to watch your band play (or do an impromptu acoustic set at lunch!). Artistic? Doodle him something silly.
Don’t forget to stroke his ego as well: compliment him on his fastball at the varsity game, ask him about the latest skateboard grabs he’s mastered, or tell him his presentation in class was a million times cooler than listening to your teacher drone on and on about bio. But don’t tell him he’s great at something if you don’t think he really is–he’ll know you’re faking it and think you’re just a groupie!

A great one for school and classmates is to look comfortable and content in the moment. Don’t stress out about your next period with the huge oral presentation or groan about wanting to go home. Be pleased to be living in the moment, especially in group work and “down” class time (read: substitutes, etc.). Your classmates will see your tranquility and confidence and will notice you more. If they notice you, the teacher definitely will, especially if your peers start following your example!
