Confidence comes from being happy with yourself, your accomplishments, and your life. If you do things you’re proud of and that make you happy, it will come naturally. If you feel awesome and know that you’re awesome, other people will take notice. Confidence gives you a glimmer in your eye and puts some swing in your step, and the people whose attention you want, whether it’s your teacher, your boss, your crush, or your parents, will perk up at attention in your presence.

A great one for school and classmates is to look comfortable and content in the moment. Don’t stress out about your next period with the huge oral presentation or groan about wanting to go home. Be pleased to be living in the moment, especially in group work and “down” class time (read: substitutes, etc.). Your classmates will see your tranquility and confidence and will notice you more. If they notice you, the teacher definitely will, especially if your peers start following your example!
