Kim Shaw has shared the big screen with Sarah Jessica Parker not once, but twice in Sex and The City and Did You Hear About The Morgans?
Now she co-stars as the all-around cool chick, funny gal, and hipster-chic sidekick Tina Bradley in MTV’s newest dramedy I Just Want My Pants Back.
Kim answers our Big Gurl Ten by confessing her fantasy lunch date with Oprah, the power of a sweet text from her boyfriend, and never ending Rapunzel envy.
1. What’s your worst date story?
I’ve been pretty lucky I guess. One time I was in such a rush to get out of the house I didn’t realize til I got to the restaurant that I had two different shoes on!
2. If you could only have one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Sushi rice.
3. Whose phone number do you wish you had?
Beyoncé. Or Oprah. Oprah would be a good lunch date.
Really long hair. I swoon over girls with hair down their backs. Mine has never been past my shoulders.
5. What’s your secret nickname?
I don’t think I have one. It must be a well kept secret.
6. What’s the guiltiest pleasure on your iPod?
I was a huge Hanson fan growing up… They may or may not still be on my iPod.
7. Best advice you ever got?
Your journey is your own. Don’t compare yourself to anyone else.
8. Favorite bargain purchase?
I shop at the Fairfax trading post every Sunday afternoon. I always walk away with vintage high waisted shorts, a record or a cool painting.
9. Instant pick me up?
A sweet text from my boyfriend.
