Singer? Actress? Young Artist Award winner? Yup, that’s none other than Renee Olstead. Though she’s clocked in five jazz albums to date, you probably best know her from TV. After starring in the CBS sit-com Still Standing, Renee is now best known for playing Madison Cooperstein on The Secret Life of the American Teenager!

Trust us, she’s not the same religiously devout and frantically hormonal frenemy you see on screen! We asked her the Big Gurl Ten and she told us all about her lesser known role as ‘wing-girl’, her secret career aspirations and her love of sweet potatoes.

1. What’s your worst date story?
Playing ‘wing-girl’ for a girlfriend and having her guy’s friend get out of hand and spill his drink all over me–fail! Word to the wise: wing-girl isn’t fun!

2. If you could only have one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Sweet potatoes! Not even hard to answer.

3. Whose phone number do you wish you had?
Marilyn Monroe . . . But I doubt she’d pick up.

4. What’s something you’ve always wanted that you’ve never gotten?
To be a Victoria’s Secret Angel. Anytime they are in need of shorter models, they can call me! I’ll drop everything and catch the next plane. I’m serious too.

5. What’s your secret nickname?
My mom calls me “Nay-nay”?

6. What’s the guiltiest pleasure on your iPod?
Lady Gaga, I know every song by heart.

7. Best advice you ever got?
Don’t let anybody tell you that you aren’t good enough.

8. Favorite bargain purchase?
Drugstore makeup, you can find the best stuff in drugstores, and I do mean makeup and hair products, lol.

9. Instant pick me up?
Blaring music in my car. I am one of those girls that sing as loud as I can while driving.

10. Describe the high school you in 3 words.
Tutored on set.
