Oh man. Where to begin with this one? The comedienne took to her Twitter to basically admit that her new show “Are You There Chelsea?” isn’t funny–or at least wasn’t from the very start of the series, which um, it should be!
The sad thing is, she’s right. I tried to watch the series, which has Chelsea playing a military wife with a baby opposite Laura “That Other Girl Whatshername From That ’70s Show” Prepon.
I love Chelsea, but I think she’s committed the cardinal sin of fame: over-exposing herself. Late night show? Great! Another show about that late night show? Uh, OK. A series based on a book about your life, but you’re not playing yourself in the series? You’ve lost me.
Chels, please just stick to one thing and try to do it well. Leave the unfunny sit-comming to Whitney Cummings. She’s already doing it so well.

um….well i think you’re way off base. i mean yes it’s weird, but i don’t think she’s over exposing herself at all. there are loads of people doing more than one television show, and i think its a funny twist that she’s in the show, but not herself. it’s like a cameo, only recurring and i love it!
