Who doesn’t love a good pair of best friends in a movie? The star may be in the spotlight, but every main character needs a BFF by his/her side. There are tons of pairs of fictional BFF’s out there, and it’s hard to narrow it down to our favorites… which is why we enlisted the help of actress and singer BC Jean.
BC Jean stars as Harper Walker in Talent: Season 2 (by the producers of Pretty Little Liars, so you know it’s good), and the show is about friendships and, well… not-so-good friends. She gave us a list of her favorite BFF moments from movies and TV, so check ‘em out and let us know: what’s your favorite famous best friend moment?
Best Best Friends Turned More Than Friends: Symba and Nala from The Lion King
Okay, so there are tons of couples to choose from in this category. But who can argue that any of them are cuter than Simba and Nala? No one. That’s who.
Most Unlikely Best Friends: Rob and Big from Rob And Big
Who would think these two would hit it off so well? Apparently it’s true: opposites attract.
Worst Best Friend Fight: Tony Montana kills his best friend in Scarface
Actually killing your BFF? Yeah, we’d say that’s a bit more dramatic than a cat fight over a boy. Yikes!
Cutest Best Friend Outfits: Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda from Sex And The City
When you think of stylish friends, these gURLs are some of the first to come to mind.
Best Best Friend Crying Scene: Roberta to her best friends about her Mom’s death in Now And Then
Anything that involves talking about a parent’s death is sad enough. Add in the fact that Roberta is normally an angry tomboy, and her emotional talk makes this even sadder.
Best Best Friend Nicknames: The Wolf Pack in The Hangover
The wolf pack speech in this movie might be one of the most famous scenes in the entire history of film. Well, maybe not. But, we heart a good bromance!
Best Best Friend Tradition: Crashing weddings in The Wedding Crashers
It might not be the best idea, but how much fun does crashing a wedding sound?! Seriously!
Saddest Best Friend Separation/death: The parents in Life As We Know It
One parent dying is a tearjerker. Two parents? We’re sobbing onto our keyboards just thinking about it.
Best Frenemies: Cady and Regina in Mean Girls
Regina and Cady bring new meaning to the word frenemy. But seriously: no one treats their friends like this in real life. Right? RIGHT?
Did we miss anything? Which one of these is your favorite? Let us know in the comments! Oh, and don’t forget to watch BC Jean in new episodes of Talent on Tuesdays and Thursdays on Facebook.com/CreateYourList.
