From the time you’re a little kid, teachers and parents are constantly telling you how important it is to go to college. And yeah, college is definitely really important, but it’s also really expensive. Not only are there some seriously high tuition prices, but there’s also fees for living on campus, getting meal plans, buying books, and pizza money. So we know that no matter where you come from, a little extra cash could always be useful.
And since not every gURL takes home an A+ report card, there are some slightly… unusual scholarships you can consider. Ever thought you could win money for being interested in cheese? Or for being really tall? Or even for being a total Trekkie? Well, you can — believe it or not — so we’ve compiled a list of some of the weirdest scholarships out there. Check ’em out, and don’t knock ’em till you try ’em! After all, who really wants to turn down money?
