So how do you deal with racism? Racism or discrimination isn’t something you should ignore. If you feel like you’re being picked on or bullied at school or at work because of your race, your gender, your sex, your religion, etc., you need to do something about it. You should confront the person and call them out on their actions.
If that doesn’t work, or you don’t feel comfortable confronting the person yourself, definitely tell someone you can trust, like your parents, your boss, a teacher, a principal or a guidance counselor. No one should have to deal with racism or discrimination — it’s totally unfair and something that would ideally not exist in this world if we had our choice.
