Do you wish you learned sex ed with these?
In the United States, kids are taught sex education when they’re teens, usually in middle or high school, and typically through textbook drawings and/or videos. So we were kind of shocked, and a little amused, when we found this article on ONTD about the toys and dolls that are used as sex ed tools in other countries.
Although other websites posted these pictures with a warning of “disturbing and graphic content”, the only thing really graphic about these are that these dolls have genitals.

erm they are kind of awkward but at least you learn something instead of the kid asking the parent and the parent making up a really uncalled for excuse
My mother worked in a gyno office when I was a kid so I was well educated on the topic of genetalia and birthing as well as breast feeding at a young age I think it’s natural to b curious nf hav more learning available to kids than a text book colour coded diagram nd I’m 17

I think these are a great idea. My parents were always pretty open about sex, but it wasn’t something they taught me how to do. Until I actually lost my virginity (to my husband), I had no idea how any of it worked. I’m still earning over a year later! If I had had these when I was younger, I would’ve been excited at the possibility to actually learn about it. There are definitely weirder things than these dolls, and not just in other countries either! This provides a more hands-on way to learn about sex, and students won’t actually just sit and giggle about what’s being said, they might actually listen!
hahahaha this is hilarious its not weird i think these are quite normal actually i mean a kid has got to know what to do one of these days lol if i had these in year 8 in health class i’d be full paying with them and tried to make them have sex , its only natural :L
What the …..? I would never give a child that. I’m only 13 and if someone gave it that to me i would be like What the F*@#?!? It’s so not for kid under 10. Thats my opinion
well i how i would react would be: wtf i already know what they look like!! give them to someone to does not know!!” and im 12 and i think dolls are not the best way to learn, but still a way to learn!
I think they are neat, that sounds weird huh? But i mean in Texas u get a text book and the teacher gets freaked out all the time because we are laughing at the ”poorly drawn” penis picture according to the guys in our class. It would have been weirder, but much more helpful.
Okaaay… I think this is very weird. It would of been akward for me if my mother of father did a sex ed with dolls like these… I would of been terrifide! All my mother did for me for sex ed was that she gave me a book for Christmas called “Girl Stuff”. I was curtantly surprised when i seen a drawling of two just guys with nothing on and their junk hanging all out… and actualy see was a vergina looks like. I was confused AND curiouse at my age! The “Girl Stuff” book taught me pretty much everything i needed to know when my parents never had the time to talk about it. But I think the “Sex Ed Dolls” are a little to much…

I dont that the reasons theyre using the dolls are weird, its a good idea. but i kind of cringed when i saw them, im sorry but they just look creepy.
I don’t think these dolls are weird at all, and I honestly think that kids SHOULD be taught about boy AND girl anatomy at a younger age. I was left to my own devices (I mean, I knew what a penis and vagina was, but I didn’t know everything) until I got curious around 8th grade, because it’s illegal to teach an actual sex ed class in Colorado (for some un-Godly reason that’s probably pretty stupid). Boys and girls need to know that they are different from each other in that way, and they also need to learn (like the first picture showed) that there’s a difference between appropriate touching and inappropriate touching. I only WISH I would have had these kinds of examples when I was younger, so that I could have learned better instead of on my own.
Don’t be stupid people. The boy is touching the doll because she’s different from him and he’s curious. And why shouldn’t he be? The first time I saw a penis, I was disturbed, I went home because I thought my friend was seriously ill in preschool. People can know parts without being violated or exposed to sex stuff that they don’y understand yet.
Furthermore, some, I would say most, girls had a Barbie phase where none of them ever had clothes on. Why is it okay for plastic to have tits and a dick? And the dolls that you can make pee… there are weirder things than these pictures.
