Abercrombie & Fitch Will Pay The Situation To Stop Wearing Their Clothes

Would you want him wearing your clothes?

Here’s a first: instead of paying a celebrity ridiculous amounts of money to be seen in their clothes, this clothing label is willing to pay Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino ridiculous amounts of money to not be seen in their clothes.

If you watched an episode of Jersey Shore this season, you probably noticed The Situation’s bright Abercrombie & Fitch sweatpants (they were kind of hard to miss). Well, Abercrombie noticed that too, and they’re really not happy about it.

Abercrombie released this statement: “We understand that the show is for entertainment purposes, but believe this association is contrary to the aspirational nature of our brand, and may be distressing to many of our fans.” Looks like they aren’t a fan of The Situation’s drunken antics and creepy pick-up lines.

In the past, Abercrombie has dealt with allegations of discrimination against Asian, African-American and female employees.

WDYT, gURLs? Do you think this is funny or really unfair? Is this totally ridiculous or you can understand why they wouldn’t want The Situation wearing their brand? Discuss below!

I honestly do not blame them for being mad about him wearing their clothes. I wouldnt want him wearing my clothes either from the way that he acts. He is a total douche bag.

  • Ashley

I dont blame them. I wouldn’t want the situation to be wearing my clothes!

eh, I don’t blame them he’s a jerk. Its funny and a bit much, it funny that a whole company dislikes one arrogant person. But its a bit much as in distasteful because it kind of shows that they are bias to other races, but I highly doubt its because of his race because they signaled him out and he’s the most disliked on the show.http://t.co/b5aa1H5

I think that is it actually funny. A majority of the individuals that I know who watch jersey shore wear Ambercrombie.. I would think by “The situation” wearing their clothes it would actually help their sales and he is advertising the company for free basically… Ehh i dont really care. I am not a fan of Ambercrombie & Fitch. They always have the same individuals modeling their clothing & it is the same race.

  • Laura

I wouldn’t want him wearing my brand either….this season he just seems super creepy and obnoxious. So I think it’s good they don’t want him wearing their clothes

  • Katie

I don’t blame them for not wanting him to wear their clothes. The brand wants to be associated with something completely different than Jersey Shore atrocities.

  • Sam

I have heard about Abercrombie being racist, I swear..that is ridiculous.
