The Pill

Birth control pills do not protect against any type of STDs. While on the Pill, you should always continue to use a backup method of protection, such as condoms, to defend against any and all diseases. Plus, it will help safeguard you against pregnancy if you miss a pill or make a mistake when taking it. Remember, the Pill is only 99 percent effective, not 100.

IM ON BIRTH CONTROL! lol obviously, I love it. I was on Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo (big name lol) and I would always get nauseous whenever I started a new pill pack. but my college clinic put me on Aviane and now I have no symptoms at all. so it takes some weeding out to find which brands work best for you.
