Breaking The Law

The crime of murder can also vary depending on its circumstances. Murder is when one person kills another person intentionally. Murder in the first degree (or “murder one”) means killing someone with some amount of premeditation, or planning.

Murder in the second degree (or “murder two”) means killing someone without premeditation, possibly in the heat of the moment. Manslaughter is when one person kills another without meaning to, like in a car accident.
