Spencer’s is a GREAT resource. I used to go there a lot as a teen and while my first time going was super uncomfortable, it’s only because of being nervous. No one cared, or asked me what I was doing. The staff there is (or at least should be) very, very nice. When I went to check out the first time, they didn’t ask for my age, but asked told me to have fun and be safe. They don’t bring a lot of attention to it. Buying a sex toy is (and shouldn’t be) embarassing, having sex and masturbating are totally okay and natural.
As far as getting one and hiding it from friends/family, try going to the mall/store/etc. alone, or with a friend. Buy the toy, and then bring a big bag/purse/pocket to put it in.
