In a recent interview with Kanye West, Rihanna talks about the fact she didn’t really have gURL friends growing up.
WEST: Were you the coolest kid in high school?
RIHANNA: I didn’t get along with people very well. I got along with guys, but I hated the girls and the teachers.
Why would she hate the gurls? Well in an article from Allure in 2008, she admitted she was bullied.
I was a little confused as a kid because I grew up with my mum, and my mum is black. So I was cultured in a very ‘black’ way. But when I go to school, I’m getting called ‘white’. They would look at me and would curse me out. I didn’t understand.

Could this explain, then, the recent comments she made about other female pop celebs, including her friend Katy Perry? In an interview for BBC Radio 1 a few weeks ago in October, Rihanna said about her new album, Loud:
“Every song was tailored to me. I didn’t want the generic pop record that Ke$ha or Lady Gaga or Katy Perry would do. I wanted Rihanna songs only I could do.”
She later retracted the quote, saying she blames the producers and not the artists (her friends and colleagues) for sounding “generic,” but this got us thinking…is Rihanna a bully? Even if it’s unintentional, do you think she’s let a sense of competitiveness that she’s manufactured out of her own life experience hurt other gURLs?

How exactly is she a bully? I see nothing in her quotes that implies that she's a bully….
LOL @ her statement because she's is clearly one of the most manufactured artists out there. "My music is unique because I paid good producers to write and put everything together for me"? Uh yeah, Fail.
Lady Gaga might be pop but she's very innovative with her music. I'm sure she writes and puts together most of her music ,herself.
I don't think she's a bully. She's just being arrogant in that particular statement.
