Q: Can I still get pregnant if a guy “pulls out” before he ejaculates? Or will it at least make pregnancy less likely?
A: Yes and yes.
Look, I have a friend who swears by the withdrawal method. She and her boyfriend have used it for years and she’s never gotten pregnant.
But I also know someone who now has a two-year-old who she swears came about despite the fact that her boyfriend sucessfully pulled out before ejaculating.
Withdrawal is a gamble. You might luck out and not get pregnant, but that’s not a guarantee. If you want to rest assured that you won’t get pregnant, use a reliable form of birth control–like a condom or the pill.
Neither of those options are as spontaneous as withdrawing. But then again, nothing kills spontaneous sex like the pitter pat of a small child’s feet…

To be honest, sometimes i let my boyfriend go into me unprotected for just one simple, no-thrusting insert (maybe a few sometimes), before he comes the first time so there's little risk of leftover sperm…we do put a condom on and continue.
the feeling of no barrier between us is something the both of us enjoy very much. he likes feeling my wetness and i like feeling his skin…but what we like almost even more than that is the peace of mind that we were being safe.

yes, many kids fool around and do things like that. you can do what you want in your love life and it doesn't have to be 'normal' all that matters is that it is safe and you both agree. (even if he is your ex!)
before you have sex, be sure to make sure you both can be open and honest with each other. be sure you both want to do this, i mean do you really love him enough to be a part of him? be sure it is love and that he really loves you for you, not for your body. also, be open with him about stds and stis, believe me you do not want any of those! also, be sure you can trust him to stick by your side if on the off chance you get pregnent. don't do ANYTHING before the condom!
now that i gave the sex speech, here is how to buy a condom. go to the drug store with your mom or dad or whoever can drive you. then, use like a life-saving ten bucks and buy some condoms. now you have them. if you need an exuse to go to the drug store and you don't want anyone to know you are goin to have sex, say you have cramps or something. then smeak up to the counter when no one is looking and buy the condoms. i suggest you tell your parents that you wanna have sex, it might make the condom getting easier. they also might have useful advice or funny stories up their sleeves. just saying.

i take the pill and sometimes we use a condom. sometimes we use the pullout method, altho, i speculate that i'm pregnant. because u can still get preg while on the pill.

Why do people mest up their lives by having sex at young ages? The little 3 minuts before he cums is not worth is it's not!
I think the risks of getting pregnant while using the pull out method are really exaggerated. Pre cum itself has very little sperm in it. I'd place the problem on guys not pulling out properly, for whatever reason.
It's not good. I want something reliable that I know works. It's a gamble I don't want to take.
My boyfriend and I relied on the pull out method for about three weeks. Thank god it worked, but it was irresponsible. Seriously irresponsible.

He didn't go all the way in, but he said you can get prego from pre-cum. i am on the pill and me and my boyfriend only uses condoms sometimes, he always pulls out first… but its not 100% positive that it will keep you from getting prego.
I'm 18 years old. I have been with my first boyfriend for 1 and 1/2 years. We have been sexually active for about a year. I am on birth control and use condoms, and he STILL pulls out. We are VERY safe. And yet, it doesn't hinder sex in any way for us.
even tho he may pull out does not mean that the sperm will not drip into the vaginal area always use a condom

I'm in an exclusive/monogamous relationship, but we still use condoms because getting pregnant is not on our (current) agenda. However, we've both been tested and are free of anything, so we've decided that once I start using the Pill then condoms may be optional lol.

Okay, I am living proof that the withdrawal method isn't reliable. Not only is there enough sperm in pre-ejaculate to get you pregnant, the risk of STD's without condoms is phenomenal. One in FOUR teenagers get an STD every year. In our nation, a million teenagers under the age of 20 get pregnant each year. That's 2800 girls a DAY. Best thing to do would be: Put on a condom. You aren't ready for a baby.. I PROMISE. It's not just pickin out names and buying cute clothes, there is a lot of responsibility and hard work to taking care of a child. Plus, I don't see many men looking for a woman with herpes, or syphillis. Do you?
